There are an endless number of hikes to choose from when you visit Yellowstone National Park.  We’re big on waterfalls and are always looking for great hikes to beautiful falls.  These 3 were our favorite waterfall hikes.  Don’t miss them!

Mystic Falls

Follow the Little Firehole River to this 70 foot waterfall.

Distance:  2 miles roundtrip

Level:  Easy

Elevation Change:  Minimal

Parking:  Biscuit Basin

Fairy Falls

Make your way to the Grand Prismatic overlook and onto the 197-foot ribbon falls

Distance:  5 miles roundtrip

Level:  Moderate

Elevation Change:  Minimal

South Rim Trail

Experience Upper and Lower Falls, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and Artist Point

Distance:  3.4 – 4.5 miles roundtrip (depending on route)

Level:  Moderate

Elevation Change:  Moderate

Parking:  Wapiti Lake
